FROM THE PRESIDENT

The Public Policy Forum is undertaking a number of key projects under the umbrella of Public Service Next. In collaboration with partners and stakeholders, we have been exploring changing dynamics in government and innovative strategies for shaping the public service of tomorrow. We recently released the first major report in this series, Flat, Flexible, and Forward-Thinking, which identifies the skills, competencies, and characteristics required for public sector leaders. Other projects under the PS Next banner include public sector mobility, agility, and productivity; government optimization; bridging the gap between politicians and public servants; and consultations on the Government of Canada's Destination 2020 initiative. We will be publishing further reports in the coming months, and we look forward to updating you on our work in this important area.

With all best wishes,

David Mitchell

President and CEO

Canada's Public Policy Forum
