CFAA host the Mamaboy Cast and Crew in "The Birthing of MamaBoy - How to raise a feature film." 7pm Tomorrow, August 16th at the Art Institute of Sacramento.
Meet the writer/producer and director along with several cast & crew members and get the details on the evolution of this locally produced feature comedy, written & produced by CFAA's own Rick Kuebler and directed by Aaron Leong, and featuring veteran actors Gary Busey and Stephen Tobolowsky, YouTube star Sean O'Donnell, a cast of hundreds and a really cool monkey.

AccessLocal.Tv Training Program
Featured in Statewide California Endowment Youth Media Event
The project provides training for up to six young journalists for four-months at a time. The group writes articles, creates radio podcasts, and broadcats video news reports for the AccessLocal.Tv website and on special news program on cable TV.
Program coordinator Isaac Gonzalez and his teams are to be congratulated, not only for the volume of their work, but also for its quality in providing content that is positive and supportive of important programs that help improve Sacramento County.

"On-Camera Kids" Acting Workshop Makes Film for October Premiere
Access Sacramento's original new training program designed to give young people a start in the professional world of movie making kicked off the training experience Saturday with a video taped audition. The final result with be the new short film "Returning Andrew."

The kids participated in a memorized reading as well as a cold read which was recorded for later feedback and evaluation. Shooting for the film written and directed by SacCasting.com's Brian Jaggar happens later this month.
This program will earn the actors a credit in the on-line storehouse of movie info IMDB.com and then this unique experience will pay off with the showing of this start up short film at the "A Place Called Sacramento" film festival Oct. 8 at the Crest Theatre.
