Donna Preston, writer/producer for "Win, Lose or Draw" said, "There is so much organization in the pre-production process, so much orchestration of  so many people with specialized skills and talents during production, then a host of details and  technicalities in post production. It takes a symphony of collaboration to pull it all together and create a quality film."

See this process eight-times over in less than two weeks. Tickets are available HERE for the world premiere of this year's films Oct. 4 at 1pm at the historic Crest Theatre in downtown Sacramento.

Programming Placement Lottery

Each September, Access Sacramento provides its channel 18 producers the chance to shuffle the line up of programming with a random lottery and choice for placement of programming beginning in the next calendar year.

This year's lottery begins today at 4:30 in the Access Sacramento TV studio.

Producers attending the 2013 Channel 18 Program Lottery
In our nearly 30-year history, this process has been deemed the most fair for all producers who, based on random selection, are able to keep their existing time slot or to move to an available one that's more to their liking.

While many producers keep their same program time-slot, others hope a different day or time will be more convenient to their viewers.

Producers who do not attend and want to select program locations from those that still remain should contact TV Programming Director TD Trice.

Grant Pacers at Franklin Wildcats

by Will James

Hometown Sports

When it comes to overwhelming size and blistering speed, the Grant Pacers have to be rated as the undisputed leaders in these classifications throughout the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section.

It's the threat the Franklin Wildcats face in our featured TV Gave of Week Friday night.

Watch Access Sacramento's Game of the Week Live TV broadcast on Comcast Cable or Consolidated Communications channel 17, AT&T U-Verse Channel 14, and on the Internet at AccessSacramento.org.

Grant Head Coach Mike Alberghini [Courtesy: News10.net]
Grant Coach Mike Alberghini, whose #2 Pacers will prance into Friday evening's match-up with a 3-0 record, is in his 25th year as Grant's head football coach, having guided the Pacers to record 24 consecutive playoff appearances.  Along the way he has accumulated 246 victories leading to 18 leagues crowns, 7 SJS titles, and a 2008 CIF State Championship; the first ever in a major sport by a Sacramento area team.

Mike Johnson's upset-minded Wildcats, having lost only to state power, Bellarmine Prep of San Jose, will bank on the prowess quarterback Jacob Lopez, versatile 2-way star Lamar Jackson, and standout defenders Rahsaan York and Kaderro Tamondong to derail the Pacer Express.

A complete preview of this game can be found at our news blog AccessLocal.tv.
