Access Sacramento Channel 18 Programming Placement Lottery Today at 4:30 pm
Each September, Access Sacramento provides its channel 18 producers the chance to shuffle the line up of programming with a random lottery and choice for placement of programming beginning in the next calendar year. This year's lottery begins today at 4:30 in the Access Sacramento TV studio.
Producers attending the 2013 Channel 18 Program Lottery
In our nearly 30-year history, this process has been deemed the most fair for all producers who, based on random selection, are able to keep their existing time slot or to move to an available one that's more to their liking. While many producers keep their same program time-slot, others hope a different day or time will be more convenient to their viewers. Producers who do not attend and want to select program locations from those that still remain should contact TV Programming Director TD Trice.
