What Would You Put on an Equipment Shopping List for Access Sacramento?

Note from the Executive Director

This is budget preparation season for Access Sacramento as we look at what purchases might help our members tell their stories in the next fiscal year beginning July 1.

This is a process, so there are no gurantees, but if there's something you think would really help make the process of making video or radio programs more successful at Access Sacramento, we'd love to hear from you.

Please send an e-mail to Executive Director Gary Martin marked, "Budget Idea." Include the device or equipment you think we need, and explain how and why YOU would find it useful.

E-mail:  GaryMartin@AccessSacramento.org

We'll put your thoughts into the mix as we move ahead.

Access Sacramento Joins
The BIG Day of Giving May 5

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 5 when the Sacramento region shows support for local cultural arts and non-profit organizations with an organized "Day of Giving."

Now in its third year, the Day of Giving encourages local donors to join together with other charity support groups who provide dollar-matching and other special cash prizes to help make philanthropic dollars go even further.

In 2014, more than $3-milion was raised to support our community's non-profit organizations, and the goal for 2015 has been set at $5-million including the matching-donor grants.

Details of Access Sacramento's participation will be announced closer to the event, but you can check out early information even now by going to GiveLocalNow.org to learn more about Access Sacramento's program or to see information about other non-profit groups who take part in the Day of Giving.
