Community Radio Producers
Reach Milestone for Content
on "The Voice of Sacramento"

Access Sacramento's audio cablecast service has been active for more than two decades, but this month "The Voice of Sacramento" surpassed its highest number of regular weekly programs ever.

Radio Programming Director Shane Carpenter says KUBU 96.5 FM now has 92 regularly scheduled programs now, higher by one than at any time in Access Sacramento's history.

Community programs are as diverse as the Sacramento Community itself.  Talk shows, interview programs, specialty music programs with a variety of genre, even poetry and historical speech programs.

Live programs can be heard most days in the afternoons or early evenings.  Taped programming from the KUBU automation controls the station the rest of the time.

Cable Commission meeting earlier this month.
KUBU 96.5 FM was launched in November with funding by the Sacramento Metropolitan Cable Television Commission.  The next major change in programming is expected next month when Tuesday morning broadcasts of the Sacramento County Cable Commission and Tuesday evening broadcasts of the Sacramento City Council are planned to begin.

Listen to Access Sacramento's KUBU 96.5 FM by pushing HERE.

Add a description The Voice of Sacramento KUBU 96.5 FM can also be heard via mobile devices with the TuneIn Radio App.  Search for KUBU and save it as a Favorite in order to listen from your phone, iPad or other mobile devices.  Bluetooth connections allow the station to be heard on car, computer or home stereo systems.
