Live Open Audition for Sacramento Has Talent
A dance duo and a young singer wowed Saturday's Open Audition judges enough to earn offers to perform in Access Sacramento's 3rd Annual "Sacramento Has Talent" stage on set for the Crest Theatre on April 2. Top performer was Cheyenne Lowden whose heartfelt performance impressed the judges during the LIVE performance on Access Sacramento channel 17. She performed the same song during an earlier pre-live-TV initial screening early in the morning.
A brother and sister dance team, Saayan and Sarina Verma, brought together traditional Bollywood dance styles with American Hip Hop to take the runner up award and also earn a spot in the finals on the big stage.
All seats for the show are $25 and can be purchased from CrestSacramento.com
Television host Ahmed Hassan from HGTV's "Landscape Smart" and DIY's "Yard Crashers" emcees the show.
