New Logo for 2015 & Beyond

Access Sacramento officially announces its new logo artwork this week after the Board of Directors finalized a Marketing and Outreach plan several months ago. The new artwork uses an emblem of Sacramento's Tower Bridge inside a speech bubble to illustrate both Access Sacramento's mission of providing public access Free Speech opportunities in Sacramento County, as well as linking to a legacy of nearly 30 years of community outreach. The board also felt the new logo creates an appropriate linkage back to the logo revealed last November for KUBU 96.5 FM, our new low-power radio station that until then was exclusively a cablecast and internet station. Listen now HERE. Many thanks to the design team from Uptown Studios including Tania Torres, Cris Weber and Anton Weaver for listening attentively and being so responsive to the feedback from the Access Sacramento staff and board of directors.
KUBU NOTE: Access Sacramento yesterday had its paperwork approved by the Federal Communications Commission, after notifying the FCC of last week's antenna change and the resulting transmitter power increase. It's officially a modification of the KUBU-LP 96.5 broadcast license, but it's always good news when paperwork sails through Washington DC with no questions.
