TV Studio Upgrades Planned
New Drapery Arrives

Significant improvements are coming for the Access Sacramento TV Studio.

A new ceiling to floor beige/grey background drape has been installed, replacing one that may have been an original from 1988. The drapery is required to be fire-retardant according to fire code, and provides an excellent surface for bouncing colored lights or images to enhance the background of many Access Sacramento shows.

Additional Improvements Planned
In the next quarter, Studio technology will also be upgraded.  New Tripods and larger viewfinders are planned for the studio cameras, and a teleprompting system will be added to each camera replacing the single-camera prompting equipment in place now.

The TV Studio is used free of charge for Access Sacramento's studio-certified members who create a variety of talk, instruction and entertainment programming.

Studio training classes run six consecutive  Saturdays from 9am to noon.  Access Sacramento membership is required to sign up. The next studio class begins in March.
