Cornell College theatre class in Chicago
20 shows in 20 days     
During the course "Theatre and the Arts in Chicago," 15 students enjoyed 20 professional productions in 20 days. Led by Cornell Theatre Professor Jim VanValen, the course also provided many opportunities to interact with theatre professionals. Read more...

myCornell coming soon        

In March Cornell will launch myCornell, an online gateway to a powerful network of more than 14,000 Cornellians who live and work in communities around the world. Your password will be included in the upcoming Cornell Report. 

Moonlight Cafe Late nights, lots of fun        

Open from midnight to 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, the student-run Moonlight Café offers late-night food options for Cornell students, such as chicken wings, french fries, hamburgers, sushi, and nachos. Moonlight Café always features karaoke and sometimes dance parties with student DJs. Read more... 

ACM photo contest winner Student places 2nd in ACM contest         

Cornell sophomore Setsen Altan-Ochir won second place in the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Off-Campus Study Photo Contest. Altan-Ochir's photo shows a bin of dolls similar to one she was given as a child. 

World premiere at Cornell         

Cornell's Chamber Singers, along with Dean Joe Dieker, will be part of a world premiere at Music Mondays on Jan. 28. The piece, written by James Falzone for the Boston-based vocal ensemble Tapestry, was composed with Cornell's Chamber Singers in mind, and features Dieker on the clarinet. Read more... 

King Chapel elevator construction King Chapel getting a lift         

Workers are busy installing an elevator on the southwest corner of King Chapel. The elevator, which will match the limestone building, should be ready by fall. You can see photos of the construction here.

2012-2013 Cornell College Women's Basketball Rams go unbeaten for 15 games   

The women's basketball team's remarkable unbeaten run ended at 15 after a tough loss against perennial Midwest Conference power St. Norbert. It was the longest unbeaten streak in the history of the women's basketball program. The Rams, ranked as high as 17th in national polls, finally met their match against the Green Knights, who have now won 48 of their last 49 home games in MWC regular-season play. Read more... 

2 teams nationally ranked    

Cornell's women's basketball and wrestling teams are both nationally ranked. You can keep up with the women's basketball rankings here and the wrestling rankings here. The college's wrestling team is 5-2 with several highly-ranked individual wrestlers.
