Our annual Children's Book Illustration Art Show & Book Signing is close to our hearts and we know it's close to yours, but after 22 years it's time for us to say "We need a break!"
By this time in the year we'd normally be receiving over 200 illustrations from 5 different children's book illustrators, pre-selling nearly 1,000 books to be signed and dedicated, designing custom framing and matting for 100+ original illustrations, promoting and organizing like crazy. Not to mention taking everything down from our walls, re-painting and re-hanging...phew! We're exhausted just thinking about it!
So...what's next for the book show? Don't worry, we aren't abandoning the world of children's book illustration - how could we?? Instead, we are taking this opportunity to re-imagine and streamline our beloved show. You might not have realized but we start planning this show 6 months ahead of time!
Well then, Let's party!
