AcuYoga - Points + Poses
Lakeville: Sunday, September 16, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Mendota: Sunday, October 7, 5 - 7 p.m.
Green Lotus acupuncturist Marcia Kirk and yoga teacher Maureen Farley have created this workshop integrating the healing benefits of yoga and acupuncture into a new form - AcuYoga. Maureen will draw from her training in hatha, yin, and kundalini yoga along with Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicines to create a gentle yoga practice. Marcia will be pairing synergistically compatible acupuncture points to the poses being practiced, which will allow students to go deeper into the poses. Students have described a feeling of pain disappearing, stiffness easing, and deeper release into the poses. Range of motion is often improved dramatically. You will feel the difference in your body, and you will leave feeling blissful, centered, and calm. It will be quiet, meditative, and yummy. No previous yoga or acupuncture experience is necessary. Dress comfortably - bring a pillow if you wish. This workshop is kept small to ensure maximum personal attention. $40 Click to save your spot.
