The Sad Death of a Young Woman

Will You Help Get Some Answers?

On April 2nd, outside Preterm abortion facility in Cleveland, prolife groups gathered for a press conference as well as to pray and offer condolences to the family of LaKisha Wilson. LaKisha was transported from the facility by ambulance on March 21st, when according to the clinic worker who called 911, she stopped breathing while inside the facility. When she arrived at the hospital 29 minutes after the first 911 call she was still not breathing.  She was pronounced dead on March 28th after her organs were donated. These are the hard facts. New facts will be revealed in the coming days.

There is no doubt that LaKisha Wilson stopped breathing inside Preterm and never again gained conscience. The doctors at this facility are not strangers to death and mutilation under the guise of "safe, legal" so called "medical procedures".   Two people enter the building when a woman arrives for this "medical procedure". One of those two people always dies a horrible death. This time, two people died as a result of the visit.  We join Ohio Right to Life in asking for a full investigation by Governor Kasich of all parties involved in LaKisha's death.

On Wednesday at the press conference, Cleveland Right to Life asked the press to please forget the agendas they had arrived with and to remember the reason why we had gathered on the sidewalk. We asked them to do their own thorough investigation and to publish the TRUTH about the circumstances surrounding this tragic death. Most of the local, state and national prolife groups who were present and several who were not, had spent almost two weeks trying to get to the bottom of the cause of this death. We had been reporting for over a week that this death needed to be investigated but there was no response from the main stream media until the night before the press conference. We hope that this will change. We know now from details uncovered by Ohio Right to Life that botched abortions are not uncommon at this facility.

Lakisha's funeral will be held on Monday, April 7 at 1PM at the House of the Lord, 1650 Diagonal Road in Akron, OH.   A fund has been started to help with funeral expenses.  If you would care to donate click here Link.  100% of the donations collected will be used for the funeral and related expenses. Operation Rescue will give a full account to anyone who requests it.

Cleveland Right to Life would like to thank those who pray outside this and other abortion facilities, every day, in the freezing cold or sweltering heat, in rain or shine in snow or hail.  It was because of these faithful frontline troops who alerted us to LaKisha's death, that we have been able to shine a light on the darkness inside this dastard facility.  We ask each of you to join these faithful people in prayer so we may  end abortion.

Ohio Right to Life is working at the state level to ensure that a full investigation by the Ohio Department of Health is forthcoming. In the meantime if you would like to help make sure that this tragedy is not repeated please file a complaint to the ODH about the following doctors who are responsible for botched abortions at Preterm. For details about how to go about this process and for the names of the doctors concerned please click here. Link
