Greg is out of any life threatening trauma. The main concern was any brain damage. The neurosurgeon has signed off on any permanent brain damage. Great news! All tests are coming back very good.
He is responding but heavily sedated. He is in much pain and will lose his right eye. The right side of his face has been shattered and will need extensive reconstruction and a long rehabilitation.
There has been an outpouring of people's love and concern. There have been too many requests for help to even count. Greg does love his fellow man well. Kathy is overwhelmed but steady. She has much to do and will need help. Greg will hopefully leave ICU soon to a hospital bed. This will be a many week process.
