Who:
All are invited to participate and read the Bible, including supervised children, representatives from government, law enforcement, education, media, arts, business, church, family, sports, and the military. Ethnic groups are also encouraged to participate in their preferred language, highlighting the richness and diversity of the city of Cleveland. Christian and Jewish scriptures will be available to read during the event.
How: Many Bible readers are needed to fill 15-minute time slots from Noon on Tuesday, Oct 2nd through Saturday Oct. 6th 10:30 am. Sign up today! Select the "Sign-up" link and you will be directed to our scheduling system. From there, you can select a day and time that works for you or your group! The scheduling system will send you a confirmation.
Where:
The Bible reading marathon will be held in downtown Cleveland at the " FREE STAMP" during daylight hours, and at the steps of City Hall (601 Lakeside) at night. All members of the community are welcome to participate.
Why:
The goal of the Cleveland Bible Reading Marathon is to bless God, bring unity to the city of Cleveland, and unite the people of the Judeo-Christian faith under the banner of the Bible.
