Field Day
Field Day
Friday, May 31 (Rain date: June 14) All parents/caregivers are invited to cheer on students as they showcase favorite physical activities and games on Field Day.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are essential to run the many events; it's also a great opportunity to see your children and their friends in action. Volunteer time slots are from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm. Please fill out the form and return it to the front hall blue bin.
Field Day T-shirts
In keeping with an OGS tradition, each grade has been assigned a color for Field Day. In the spirit of "greening", please use a t-shirt from home that matches your grade color (it does not matter if there is print on it). A box will be in the front hall for those spare, clean t-shirts, in Field Day colors, that you would like to "recycle." If you do not have the color you need for your child's grade, please check the boxes.
On Field Day, please have your child wear a t-shirt that corresponds to their grade: Kindergarten - Orange
Grade 1 - Red
Grade 2 - Yellow
Grade 3 - Blue
Grade 4 - Green
Grade 5 - T-shirts provided by Grade 5 Committee.

PTA
OGS Largest Fundraiser, Pumpkin Patch, Needs You!
October 19, 2013
If you like putting on events, working towards a deadline, and getting to know other parents, this is your perfect volunteer opportunity. Consider volunteering to be one of next year's Pumpkin Patch Co-Chairs. While learning the ropes of this 40+ year tradition and coordinating the talents of nearly 50 sub-committee chairs, you will be building community spirit and giving back to our great school! This is a two-year commitment - learning the ropes during the first year and assuming a leadership role the second.
