From Our School Nurse
At this time of year, please remember to check your children for head lice. Though there is no health concern with head lice, they are a nuisance and an inconvenience. Holiday gatherings and traveling present the possibility of exposure to lice, so it is important to examine your child during the morning and evening routines.
Nurse Finneran will continue to provide families with suggested procedures for lice eradication as well as descriptions of preventative measures to reduce re-infestation. With everyone's due diligence cases of head lice can be kept to a minimum. Please contact Nurse Finneran with any questions.

PTA Thank You
Support for Sandy Hook Elementary - Message from CT PTSA
Thank you to everyone who has donated snowflakes on behalf of the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School and the community of Newtown. We know that each snowflake represents the emotional outreach of the person making it. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity from around not just the country but the world. At this time, we have enough beautiful snowflakes to blanket the community of Newtown. Therefore, with regret we must close the snowflake project to further donations.Old Greenwich School SignThe OGS community is so excited to display our name proudly on our school. Thank you to Kate Mini for coming up with this idea and seeing it through from beginning to end. Thank you to the OG PTA for funding this project.
