PTA Support for Sandy Hook Elementary
The National PTA has organized an effort to support families at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Here are ways to participate:
  1. Create and decorate snowflakes. Volunteers in Newtown are working to ensure that when school resumes in a new building, students will be welcomed back by a winter wonderland of snowflakes made by people around the country. Make and send snowflakes by January 12, to CT PTSA at the address below. Be creative and remember that no two snowflakes are alike!
  2. Donate funds. Donations will be accepted indefinitely to the CT PTSA "Sandy Hook Fund" to provide ongoing support to the community. Please send checks to the CT PTSA at the address below.

Parent Input Requested on Enrichment Activities
The PTAC Special Education Support (SES) Committee is working in partnership with Abilis and the Greenwich YMCA to explore enrichment opportunities for children with learning differences to participate alongside their peers. The focus is on middle school aged children, but SES is seeking input from parents of students at all grade levels. Please take a moment to complete this short four question survey.
