At School
Everyday Math home links are available online if your child forgets his or her math book at school. Visit the Everyday Math website and select your child's grade level. The unit number of the assignment can be selected and printed.
Update on 2012 - 2013 School Calendar
The BOE recently voted that if there are additional snow days during this school year, they will be made up at the end of the school year and then taken from Spring Break as follows:
- First Snow Day - Tuesday, June 25
- Second Snow Day - Friday, April 19
- Third Snow Day - Thursday, April 18
- Fourth Snow Day - Wednesday, April 17
- Fifth Snow Day - Tuesday, April 16
- Sixth Snow Day - Monday, April 15
Special Education Support Committee Meeting with New Superintendent Dr. William McKersie

2012 - 2013 directories are available for purchase. The cost is $10 for PTA members and $25 for non-members.
Fall Afters
Classes will be ending in a few weeks. Please note the final classes are different than originally listed on the class descriptions due to hurricane school closings. Yoga ends December 11, Improv and Golf end December 13, Lego and Zumba end on December 17 and Cooking ends on December 19.

Author Visit: Chris Van Dusen
Thursday, December 13
The OGS PTA is thrilled to announce that author Chris Van Dusen will conduct writing workshops for Grade 2, 3 and 4 students. Mr. Van Dusen who hails from Maine, is the author of If I Built a Car, The Circus Ship, the Mr. Magee books and others. He is also known as the illustrator of the Mercy Watson books. We are honored to have him. The Book fair, held from December 17 - 19, will have a special table with Mr. Van Dusen's books for sale. |
