At School
 
OGS Halloween Parade
Wednesday, October 31, 2:30 pm
All are invited to watch OGS students and teachers march in costume in the Halloween Parade. The parade starts at the firehouse on Sound Beach Avenue and ends at the school near the parking lot entrance. At the end of the parade, everyone marches to the field behind OGS for costume viewing and pictures. Don't forget to send your child's costume to school on Wednesday morning!

 

Annual Fruit and Veggie Challenge
Forms due Monday, October 29
The OGS students enjoyed a rainbow of fresh produce this week at lunchtime! Help your children complete their challenge forms and return them to the blue bin on Monday, October 29. The class that ate the most servings of fruit and vegetables will win a special surprise to be announced next week.
 
Pre-Order Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel
Forms Due Wednesday, October 31
This newest book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, November 13. Turn in the completed form and check to the Book Fair blue bin. OG PTA will receive 25% of all sales.
 
Lost and Found
Please check the lost and found bins in the gym foyer, which are overflowing with coats, sweaters and other items. Clothing not claimed by Friday, November 9 will be donated to charity.

Candy Drive
Monday, November 5
The Outreach Committee is collecting halloween candy to donate to our troops overseas. Please bring your extra candy to OGS and put it in the bins at the bottom of the stairs at drop off and pick up. Last year we shipped over 300 pounds!
