Street Scene Watercolor Demonstration
This Thursday
April 18th 11am - 12:30pm
Street Scene watercolor demonstration led by Steve Kleier. Brown Bag lunch at the AHC
Free and open to the public
"I enjoy looking at street scenes because of the energy. The shapes of the buildings and the space they define are challenging and rewarding to paint. Architecture defines space in a geometric way that has a visual certainty. The human element is always important in these scenes so I am sure to have some characters showing up in my painting. Human figures add a sense of scale, charm and, well... humanity. I paint in an alla prima style that relies on good composition and value relationships as well as washes applied with a certain bravura."
