Get Involved With Walking Tours!!
Docents and chaperones needed: Volunteers who wish to lead or assist with our summer walking tour program must participate in training. This is a great opportunity to help the AHC and learn about the historic architecture of Portland. R.S.V.P. directly to Val Ballestrem.
*Saturday, March 16, 11:00 AM - Vocabulary of Architecture and Overview of Common Architectural Styles in Portland *Saturday, March 23, 1:00 PM - How to Lead a Walking Tour (MANDATORY for new docents and all chaperones)*Saturday, April 6, 11:00 AM - Overview of Portland History and Architecture Kitchen Revival Tour, April 13 - Kitchen monitors needed (afternoon shift is helpful). Just a few spots left! Photo Hanging Project - Volunteers (2) needed to hang photos in our classroom and hallway, 2-3 hours.

| Donation wish list | Thank you to everyone who makes donations to support our office, events, and projects in the shop!
Everything counts and we rely on you! Our current needs are:
-General Office supplies (copy paper, sharpie pens, stamps, etc.)
-Reception supplies (disposable cups, napkins, beverages).

| Call to Artists | We are accepting proposals for solo and small group art exhibits for 2014.
Interested artists can email barbarap@visitahc.org for information on our exhibits and details for applying. Artists are also encouraged to attend one of our First Friday art openings to see how it all works.

Education Programs
Thank you for helping us put on a fabulous winter of education programs! Almost every program has sold out and repeat performances of many are in the works. Congratulations to Val and the entire team of Education Committee volunteers! Art Education program:Thursday, March 21; 6pm - 8pmFree and open to the public
Please join us for a film showing and artist's presentation. "Stitched" follows three quilters as they complete their entries for the International Quilt Festival in Houston. The documentary highlights some recent controversies in the quilting world as well as revealing the passion and artistry behind quilting. Stay with us afterwards for our artist's technique presentations and learn how the Fiber Five Artists completed their pieces.
