May Trip to DeSoto State Park

What: May Trip to DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon on Lookout Mountain, Ft. Payne, AL. There are available seats on the bus and rooms until April 27.
When: May 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15, 2016 (5 days - Wednesday thru Sunday)
Cost: Bus Fare of $235 is due April 22, 2016.
Bus, a 55 passenger motor coach, Miller Transportation, driven by Jimmy Bowles, is $235 per person.
The bus fare includes the following:
- Breakfast gift card at McDonald's
- Wednesday - a buffet meal at an early afternoon stop in Mentone, AL a quaint mountain village atop west brow of Lookout Mountain. Mentone is approximately 15 - 20 minutes from our destination, DeSoto State Park.
- Snack trays/finger foods for Social Hour 3 nights (Thursday, Fri., Saturday)
- Friday - a full day excursion ($30 fee included) to Little River Canyon National Preserve with hiking, guides, interpretive center program, plus a buffet meal at noon.
- Gratuity for bus driver, plus all other gratuities included.
All persons in autos not riding bus will owe a total of $85. This covers group activities and includes $5 per day event charge.
***Note: This 5-day trip per day cost is approximately $45 - the same as the per day cost of our 4-day trip to West Virginia.
