Greetings!
One need only to watch the news or read the paper to experience the conflict and strife in the world. At the core of the conflict is the mistaken belief in separation. That somehow anyone who thinks, looks, or believes different is somehow the other. This is an illusion. There is no separation there is only oneness.
There is a commercial for the Android operating system that says we are all one not all the same. Our individuality becomes an illusion that leads to the belief in separation. We are each individual expressions of Spirit. Unique in our expression and one at our essence.
Easter is a perfect time to step into the next level of consciousness beyond the illusion of separation. Jesus, our way-shower, pointed us in the direction of transcending the limitations of the ego and the material world. Stepping beyond the boundaries of life he showed the way to a deeper reality of wholeness. We take this final step this week and raise in consciousness into a deeper understanding of our oneness. Easter is a time to rise up in consciousness, to resurrect into a new consciousness beyond the anger and hurt into a deeper appreciation of our own Divinity and wholeness.
The only way to peace is to be peaceful. Love, acceptance, empathy, and compassion are the true path of healing and reconciliation. Rev. Martin Luther King wrote "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." Let us this Easter resurrect into a new consciousness of love and light. Let us live in the light.
Friday evening join Rev Val and Rev Ray as they interpret the seven last words of Jesus. In honor of Good Friday there will be communion offered at the conclusion of the service.
Easter Rev Ray will provide the lesson on the true meaning of the resurrection experience. Rev Val will lead the meditation and we welcome special guest Paradiso & Rasamayi. They will bless the congregations using crystal bowls and didgeridoos. Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God. See you Sunday.

13th Annual Hug a Bunny
March 20 - April 17
Bring in your stuffed animals to fill with hugs. We will hold them, love them and pass them around the sanctuary in honor of those who have made their transition in 2015, before distributing them to area hospitals, nursing homes and other locations on Sunday April 17. To date, Unity of Louisville has distributed over 3500 stuffed animals. Contact Alan Scherer at scherer8@bellsouth.net to help with the deliveries.
