CUNNINGHAM, BEVERLY IONE (BRECKER),

entered life on Sunday, July 11, 1937 and was called to her heavenly home on March 16, 2016, joining parents J. Denmure and Emma Kissling Brecker; husband, Gene; sister, Joyce; and infant twin sons, Thomas and Timothy.

Bev was a 27 year breast cancer survivor, member of Friends for Hope, Gildas Club, Serenity Hikers, Swiss Ladies and Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was a 1955 graduate of Atherton, retired from Cherry-Burrell after 33 years and an Olympic Torchbearer.

Continuing to spread her joy and sunshine is her loving daughter, Brenda Joy Bradshaw (Rick); granddaughter, Kristin Martin (John); grandson, Jake Bradshaw; great grandsons, Will and Brecker Martin; step-granddaughters, Katharine Antrim (Hugh), A.T. Norwood (Brayton) and Rebecca Bradshaw.

Bev was especially close to Ruby Sheridan and her other Kissling and Brecker cousins, as well as Mary Ellen Lewis and her many life-long friends from Zion United Church of Christ.

She will also be remembered by her special companion, Gene Vowels and his caring family.

Respects may be paid on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Hwy. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park 4400 Bardstown Road.
