Greetings!
Unity teaches a positive path for spiritual living. We teach practical spiritual tools, practices, and disciplines. When we think, speak, and live our teachings our lives begin to transform. We become aware of our limiting thoughts and beliefs and begin the process of changing our thinking and changing our lives. This week Gerry Boylan is speaking on the topic of Practical Spirituality. He writes "practical spirituality is not watered down spirituality. It is the continuing discovery of methods and means to move from the head to the heart, from separation to Oneness, from fear to love, from darkness to light." I would add it is not for the faint hearted.
When we begin the process we can begin to become aware emotions, memories, beliefs that maybe we have hid from, denied, ignored, or simply never recognized before. This can manifest as physical, emotional. or mental pain or dis-ease. It is understandable that we may want to hide, dent, or run from these experiences. But, we know we are called to live an ever greater expression of our true self and even in our unknowing of what is to be revealed we stay present to the experiences, letting go of the known, to emerge on the other side transformed and renewed. Then we begin the process again because there is always more to be revealed.
In addition to Gerry providing the lesson we have Robin nelson leading the meditation and Janet Essenpreis providing the special music. Don't forget to set your clocks for daylight saving s time.

Spiritual Movie Night

Join us on the third Friday of the month for spiritual movie night. Each month we will show a different movie of a spiritual nature. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Kid's Movie Night, too!
