In what I believe is one of the best prosperity programs available David Owen Ritz challenges the participants to create a powerful individualized vision for their life. In Unity we teach it is through the thoughts we hold, persistently and with feeling, that we co-create our lived experience. The process of creating a personal vision, guided by our own values, we can train our mind to see the challenges of life as obstacles to overcome and new opportunities to achieve our dreams.
A vision does not insulate us from the trials of the world. But, a vision does provide the perspective and the guidance to move easily through all challenges. The vision provides the point on the horizon in which to guide the ship of our lives. The potential and the opportunities to express the abundance and wholeness of the universe is unlimited. In human terms limited only by the power of our imagination. A clear vision, in alignment with Spirits guidance, helps us see beyond the limitations of our current belief system. A vision helps us narrow our choices as well. Though all things may be good not all things are mine to do.
In my own life I have a very eclectic and curious mind. At times when I have not had a clear vision for what I was creating in my life I was like a squirrel in a field of acorns bouncing from one idea and subject to the next. There was no focus or clarity in my creation. Do not misunderstand this. I was creating and in many ways having a great time but really was like a boat with no rudder I never really knew where I was heading. When I got clear on my vision my choices narrowed about where to place my time and energy and my life began to move forward in a completely different way.
I still have a curious mind. I still have an eclectic attitude towards all that life has to offer. But I explore, challenge myself, and continue to test the boundaries of my own beliefs in a completely different more intention manner.
This we we continue the journey of creating a new consciousness for the new year. Last week we released that which no longer serves us with the burning bowl. This week we go within and listen for Spirit to reveal to us a new name for the new year. A new name to inspire and empower the new consciousness. Rev Ray will facilitate the White Stone ceremony. Linda Hurd will provide the special music and Deb Reinhardt-Brocious will lead the congregational songs. |

We continue to hold Kim Summers sisters, nieces, and nephew in healing prayer as they recover from a car accident. We know the healing power of God is supporting, comforting, and healing them now.

We hold Joy Walters and her family in healing prayers as they continue to heal from a number of ailments. We see beyond the conditions and know the healing power of God is restoring and comforting them now.

Our Youth & Family Ministry and Next Generation Unity is having a book and bake sale.
Donate your old books now; you can leave them in the Activity Center foyer. On the 31st of January, stop by and browse through the selection of books, have some coffee, tea or treats. AFFIRMATIVE PRAYER WORKSHOP

Are you interested in knowing about prayer from a Unity perspective? The prayer workshop is an interactive and participatory workshop to provide you the information you need to pray in a more affirmative style and the experience of a new form of prayer in which we claim the universal truth in the midst of conditions and circumstances. This is a required workshop for all first time prayer chaplains.

Reiki 1 and 2 Training and Certification

During this training you will receive attunements, a manual, work with hand positions, learn symbols, and enhancing meditation practices. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
