I was busy preparing my talk for Sunday (I know how busy is preparing a talk but that is another conversation) and I received an affirmation email that I thought I would share."Happiness isn't a destination, Ray, it's a realization that things couldn't possibly get any better than having the freedom to perceive as you please and to think as you choose, in a magical, adoring Universe."
Sunday's Advent topic is Joy and I think if you replace the word Joy for happiness the same truth holds. Joy is not a destination. It is not something you achieve or acquire. It is not a a state one achieves when certain conditions are met. Rather it is a state of consciousness, and inner state of mind that reflects into the external world. Humanity is born in Joy and Joy is who we are.
Join us Sunday as Rev ray provides an inspirational message on the meaning of the Advent theme of Joy. Rev Val will provide facilitate the meditation and Colette Delaney will provide the special music. In addition, we will sing some of our favorite Christmas songs. May the Peace and Joy of God surround and enfold you this holiday season.
