"Therefore I give you still another thought,
which is yet purer and more spiritual:
In the Kingdom of Heaven all is in all, all is one, and all is ours."
- Mister Eckhart.
What is the Unity movement?
by Aaron Bradley
It is a ongoing movement,
from pleading to affirming.
It is a movement from indifference to compassion.
It is a movement from me, to us,
leading to the consciousness of the universal "I".
It is a movement from death to resurrection.
It is a movement from I don't know you to I am you.
It is a movement from being a child of God to the Christ of God.
It is a movement from depression to exultation.
It is a movement from immobilization.
It is a movement from the Orthodox, to what may seem to the many, unorthodox.
It is a movement from the ego to the center.
It is a movement from the tumultuous, crashing waves of life,
to the calm, tranquil, sparkling sea of divine bliss.
It is a movement from I cant do it, to I got it made.
It is a movement from fear to courage, doubt to faith, hatred to love,
division to inclusiveness, from stealing, from judgment to understanding,
from bargaining with God, to working with him.
From loneliness, to the awakening of omnipresence.
It is a movement from believing that
cruelty, greed, hatred and animosity are all there is in life, to
the ultimate knowing that God is:
Then, now and evermore shall be,
ALL THERE IS!!!
Plan to attend as Rev val and I share the platform which should at the very least be interesting. Dave Evans and Robbin Goodin will provide the special music, Deb Reinhardt-Brocious will be our song leader, and Lisa Wilbanks will provide the meditation experience. Hope to see you Sunday.
