9 am Unity Prayer Service
 11:00 am Sunday Celebration Service

Greetings!

Today I am not going to write about the upcoming topic of our core value Spiritual Journey, you'll just have to listen to the podcast or come on Sunday to hear the message. Instead I would like to share with you an experience I recently had. Recently I was in a meeting with one of our congregants Janis and her grandson Marsean, many of you know him as JuJu. JuJu is autistic and we have begun, as part of our commitment to the core values of inclusion and empowerment, to mentor JuJu in ushering. I want to extend a deep sense of gratitude to the usher team and especially Chuck Fulner for welcoming JuJu on the team and assisting him in the performing his duties.

But more then that I want to share how JuJu and his grandmother inspire me. Yes we live, work, and play in the relative world. There are certain facts that we must be conscious of. But, beyond this we do not let the facts contain or control our activities or our attitude. JuJu's smile and enthusiasm transcend the limitations life has created for him.  He reminds me, especially those times I want to feel sorry for myself, that we believe in the unlimited possibilities of all people, no matter the circumstances or conditions. JuJu and his grandmother ask how can I serve, what can I do to contribute, how can I be included and participate to fullest extent of my abilities. He seeks in his own way to express the Divine presence that is in him.

Please join us Sunday as we conclude our series on the vision/mission/core values of Unity of Louisville. Rev Ray will be speaking on the core value of the spiritual journey, Dana Bryant-Wilson will provide the special music, and Rev Val will be leading the meditation. Hope to see you Sunday.

       Keys to the Kingdom

  Wednesday Sept. 23rd-Nov. 3rd 7:00-9:00 PM
Chapel with Rev. Ray Nelson
Keys to the Kingdom is designed to help your students identify and change their limited beliefs about abundance, happiness, and success. This is not a course about simply getting more money or material things. It is actually a guide to developing a higher level of spiritual awareness.  The program leads to an understanding of the spiritual foundation of true abundance and creating a life in greater harmony with spiritual law and to strengthen your spiritual community by helping your students see the relationship between their spiritual growth and their participation in their spiritual community.

Missed a Sunday? Need a mid-week pick me up?
