9 am Unity Prayer Service
 11:00 am Sunday Celebration Service

Greetings!

Our director of sacred services, Gwen Moser LUT (formerly know as the volunteer coordinator) embraces our core value of empowerment through service. Gwen writes...

Have you ever thought what it takes to make Unity of Louisville operate day to day?  Without the involvement of many, many folks, it is impossible for an organization this large to operate; or, for that matter, to thrive.  But, more important is your individual growth-your empowerment.  And, that comes from involvement-giving of time and talents, serving the congregation of Unity of Louisville.  Does it really matter and make a        difference?  Well-known anthropologist Margaret Mead thought so.  Perhaps you are familiar with her frequently used quote:  "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.  Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Michael Beckwith the founder of Agape International the largest New Thought church in the world asks the question "what is trying to emerge in you? What is God's plan that is seeking expression through you? The Possibilities Team is here to assist you in discovering and expressing your ideas, passions, and commitments. Bring your ideas and your suggestions to the team and they will give you the support you need to implement your ideas. The Possibilities Team meets the 3rd Sunday of the month after the 11 AM service. We look forward to hearing from you.

"Our divine purpose is to express the Christ within each of us.  Each of us has been given very special , specific divine gifts that are natural for us.  These gifts express our true  nature and we find ourselves yearning, desiring, being passionate about these gifts."

Wayside Christian Mission

Are you ready to share a fun time out in the community?

Wayside Christian Mission has asked Unity of Louisville to host a Kids Activity Fun Night on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

They have a new gymnasium at the emergency shelter and anywhere from 20 to 40 children ages from birth to 18 years of age. The vision is to provide an evening of fun, safe, activities so the children can let loose of built up energy.

  • The babies and toddlers want your love and are excited to see or chase bubbles or roll around oatmeal cans, filled with a piece of paper, and a sponge and a little paint to create a work of art.
  • The elementary age children want to be challenged with obstacle courses or cooperative games.
  • The teens, well who knows for sure, but cooperative games or charades are usually a winner.
  • Parents may want to time to be still without the care of the children for moment or take a rest in a peace filled meditation, or simply spend time coloring.

If you are interested in sharing your love with a child or teen, want to help coordinate activities, or any other idea, please sign up in the social room or contact Gwen Moser, L.U.T./ Sacred Service Coordinator at gwenm@unityoflouisville.org or call 502 583-55  502 583-5559 x 26

Keys to the Kingdom

Keys to the Kingdom is designed to help your students identify and change their limited beliefs about abundance, happiness, and success. This is not a course about simply getting more money or material things. It is actually a guide to developing a higher level of spiritual awareness.  The program leads to an understanding of the spiritual foundation of true abundance and creating a life in greater harmony with spiritual law and to strengthen your spiritual community by helping your students see the relationship between their spiritual growth and their participation in their spiritual community.
