                 Brenda Chene

 

Brenda Chene has been a member of Unity for 28 years. First in Kalamazoo, MI and for the last 18 years at Unity of Louisville. Brenda is a retired nurse and spent 18 years as the administrative assistant for the Vanderbilt University Medical School. In addition, Brenda was the clinical trial coordinator for 8 years at Upjohn Medical and 11 years at the University of Louisville.

 

Brenda has served Unity of Louisville in a variety of roles including usher, special events, hospitality, bookstore and is currently completing the 3 year term of Lynne Joseph Lynne.

 

Brenda strives to live by principle and the teachings of Christ as understood and taught by Unity. Her personal satisfaction is serving the community and assuring a smooth running operation.

 

 

 

Mark Flesch

 

Mark has been a member of Unity of Louisville since 2009. Mark is a retired dentist who with his partner Denise operates a dental consulting company. Mark, in addition, is an instructor at the University of Louisville Dental School.

 

 

Mark is the current Board President and also serves as co-chair of the special events team. Mark strongly believes in service as one of his primary spiritual practices. It has been his great honor and privilege to serve on the Board.

MEDITATION PRACTICES

The main focus of this course will be placed on the process of meditation and how it is defined and practiced in various ways. Course is on a love offering basis and can be taken for Spiritual Education and Enrichment credit through Unity Institute. Cost: $45.
