When I was sick before we got a clear understanding of what was happening I found it very difficult to concentrate and focus. Recently, feeling much better, I have begun to re-engage some of the practices and disciplines I had begun when I first moved to Louisville. One of these was working the principles of the Og Mandino book the Greatest Salesman in the World. Each day I take a principle and for 30 days I read, meditate, journal, and try to live out the teaching. This, for me, is an exercise in consciousness shifting.

          Today I was meditating of the first teaching "I create new habits and I become slaves to them." I noticed my reaction to the word slave as if I am so how a victim of my habits. Upon further reflection the truth of this statement began to emerge. I certainly am a creature of habits. I think everyone is. It helps us have structure and clarity about our day and what we can expect. The question becomes what are my habits and what I a slave am to. Taking this principle seriously I begin to take stock and notice my habits, both in thoughts and behaviors, and I can begin to make different choices when my habits no longer serve my highest good.

          I continued to meditate and journal on these thoughts and realize in many ways this is a similar teaching to what I teach in any of our prosperity classes. Prosperity is not only about money and material wealth but about a changing of consciousness concerning the universe and my place. In class I begin to notice the habits of my thoughts and behaviors that do not lead me to a higher understanding of the abundance of the universe. I begin to make different choices and live out of an expanded consciousness.

          I would like everyone to consider taking the Keys to the Kingdom class I will be facilitating for seven weeks beginning February 4th. This is not a course about simply getting more money or material things. It is actually a guide to developing a higher level of spiritual awareness. Let us together work and play to shift the prosperity consciousness of the planet one thought, one behavior, and one habit at a time.
