Remembrance Service

        Have you experienced a loss in the past that you are still grieving? A death can linger with us for days, weeks, months, or even years as we focus on the loss of one we loved so dearly. This is normal and to be expected. Yet, we can move through these feelings of loss more easily when we acknowledge and share them together. Please plan to attend the Unity of Louisville Remembrance service December 10th at 6:30. Join with Rev Ray and Bob Buehring, hospice chaplain and bereavement specialist in an uplifting service of remembering. Light a candle in honor of the memory of one remembered and move from a consciousness of grief to a consciousness of remembering life. Grief shared helps lift the burden we often fell we carry alone.

Advent Week 2 Love

        This week we continue our journey of Advent and the celebration of the birth of the Christ within. This week we talk about Love. Charles Fillmore wrote "love is the great harmonizer and healer. Love is an inner quality that sees good everywhere." According to A Course in Miracles everything is either and expression of love or a cry for love.

        Love is a Divine power of God. It is a gift to humanity. Like Faith, we cannot have more or less love in our lives. We have all the love we are ever going to have. The real question is not how can I get more love but how can I express more fully the love I already have and is always present. "Love therefore is the fulfillment of the Law (Romans 13:10).
