Greetings!

My friends, this week we concluded our fall book study on Brene Brown's book The Gifts of Imperfection. It would be easy to place the book on the shelf next to all of the other spiritual, religious, and self help books never to be seen or heard of again. I know I have done this countless times over the years and while I love exploring new ideas and topics I believe this would be a mistake. I reflected this week on the 7 week journey and marveled at how far I have come, learning to use the self-compassion, in living a wholehearted life. I recognize as well how much work still remains, radical self awareness. I encourage each of to continue to explore and work the principles of the book, maybe taking one principle a week or a month and seeing how it plays outs in your everyday life. There is an old adage in AA it works if you work it. Remember you may be the one. The universe is counting on you.
