9 am Healing & Prayer Service 11:00 am Sunday Celebration Service
Greetings!
One of the most important roles of a minister is communication. We communicate in a variety of ways including Sunday lessons, class lectures and discussions, facilitating meetings, pastoral counseling, and written communication such as blogs and emails. In my case there is the additional writing from my class work. Knowing the importance of clear and consistent communication this week has been frustrating for me. I have a writers block. Funny how I am facilitating a class on writing your spiritual biography and I am blocked. I know I want my writing to be profound, challenging, or at least interesting but for the past week I have been completely blocked.
All moments are a teaching moments. I do not have to know the why I really only need to be present to the what. I could spend my time judging myself as lacking, that would be helpful, or I can simply acknowledge what is and move through the experience with ease and grace. My pattern, in the past, is this is a temporary condition and a time of short duration. I just need to take a breath and relax into the "what is" and give myself time to move through this experience naturally and easily. Pushing and anxiety offer little comfort nor does it create the consciousness for my natural flow. When things are happening that seem out of character
it is helpful to just sit back, take a breath, and relax knowing this to shall pass.
Enjoy your week and hope to see you Sunday.

Our Changing Perception of God
Sunday, August 3, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Join facilitator Rev. EJ Niles in exploring the spiritual evolution of humanity as seen through the changing perception of God as reflected in the stores of the Bible.
Have you ever noticed when you try to read the Bible how many different descriptions of God there are there? Has that ever give you pause or caused to you to question? It makes the Bible make more sense when you know that the writers of the Bible changed their perception of God as they continued to evolve. By viewing the Bible "Through the Lens of the Spiral" - using the Spiral Dynamics model we are able to trace that changing perception.
Rev. EJ Niles, founder and executive director of Spiral Pathways an alternative Unity ministry is also on the faculty at Unity Institute where she teaches Bible Interpretation and history.

Greetings Women In Unity!

Using The LAW Of Attraction To Clean Up Old Vibrational Patterns
Have you noticed how easy it is to get caught in old patterns? The reason for this is our patterns have become habit. And what's a habit? Merely a practiced way of thinking, speaking, or being, that has become so "comfortable" that we now do it automatically. Under our radar, unconsciously -- minus deliberate decision! And so in lies the challenge... During this evening we will look at some basics about the Law Of Attraction. Remember, "repetition is the first law of learning"! Then we will build on these concepts, as well as, learn a very powerful, yet simple, strategy that will literally shift your vibration around old patterns that no longer serve you, to new deliberate thoughts, words and actions that do.
Cindy is a entrepreneur and a Life Coach. Her focus in coaching is teaching people how to bring their BIG dreams to life by deliberately using their focus and attention. Visit her website for more information, Cindy Brett.
