9 am Healing & Prayer Service 11:00 am Sunday Celebration Service
Greetings!
I've had some interesting experiences with technology lately. Many of you know I had my email hacked a few weeks ago and without going into great detail I lost 8 years of save correspondence. Yesterday as I was preparing to write my blog a semi took out the utility poll and cutting the power and internet service to the neighborhood. I was feeling a little put out but as I often say on Sunday there is no out there out there doing something to me. I teach and I believe I am a co-creator of the reality I live in. Believing
this and living in the reality with a peaceful heart is a different thing entirely. What was I thinking and why in the world am I creating all this struggle?
Maybe, what is important is not why I created this, looking backward, but rather how do I respond in the present moment. I have learned when I am stuck in a consciousness of victim or why me to ask a different question. Yesterday I asked what are these momentary problems of technology trying to teach me? What is the blessing? The lesson I am sitting with is how attached I get to my things and my way of acting in the world. When things disrupt my routines or ways of getting things done I allow my peace to be disturbed. Not a bad thing just a real notice.
Maybe, just maybe, it is a good thing to have w wrench thrown into the normal ways of thinking and behaving to wake me up to a new understanding. A new understanding of my gratitude for the advances in technology that make my life so much easier and how tied I am to the ways things are. Only by noticing and becoming can I choose to act differently. Thank you God I look forward with great anticipation for my next lesson. Bring it on.
