9 am Healing & Prayer Service
 11:00 am Sunday Celebration Service

Greetings!

The theme this week is celebrating your independence in honor of the 4th of July. In preparing for the talk the thought came to me freedom from what? What are we held in bondage to? For me it is the freedom from the bondage of the past and the illusion that my past somehow dictates my present reality, beliefs, and perception. This may be true in most cases as I am not fully awake. But, I teach transformation is possible and only possible when we are awake and self aware.

Recently in a conversation I was struck at how lucky the person I was talking to was. She knew she did not know or understand something. She was willing to see differently and to ask different questions of life and herself. So often I get stuck in thinking I know an answer or see things correctly and it is in those times my mind is closed to the new possibilities seeking to emerge. To know you do not know is the beginning of wisdom. To quote Martin Luther King, "free at last Thank God almighty free at last." I know that I do not know and I am open and receptive to the wisdom and grace of God to be revealed in and through me now.
