Dear KIT Friends,
In just a month we had presented two US premiere (Farfariello and the one is coming up November 12), we performed the Decameron at Vassar College, brought Professor Margherita and her ABC at the Westchester Italian Cultural Center and celebrated Pasolini at Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimo'.
I think we can be happy and proud of our work. As you can see from the news in this newsletter, we have no intention of slowing down.
There are so many beautiful news to share with you, we have just to wait a bit longer before we can make official announcements. To support KIT, instead, you don't have to wait! You can do it today! By coming to the theater, by sharing our activities, by promoting KIT and by DONATING!
I will be seeing you at the theater starting from November 12 (I am on stage!!!) and at our fun and sweet fundraiser. Or around NY, at one of the many events we'd like to support!

In Italy (and in the US!), theaters are under real estate pressure; their precious locations and spacious buildings are eagerly sought by developers who try to convert valued cultural assets into commercial buildings. This clash of artistic idealism and commercial opportunism has been dramatized by Italian playwright Alberto Bassetti in a play written many years ago and still (and unfortunately) very contemporary.
