Happy New Year! Buon Anno! It's only January and we are already working on many events, classes, performances, fundraising... it's exciting and a bit crazy!
As you can see below, our theater consulting division has the honor to collaborate with Teatro delle Albe for their upcoming performance at La MAMA Rumore di Acque (Noise in the Waters).
Also, In Scena! 2014 is already in the making. We have many great news that make the Festival looking great already!
Last but not least, our season is getting fuller and fuller, and we are very happy about that. What will make us REALLY happy is to see all of you coming and enjoying our productions. When you do, please make sure to say CIAO after the show.

We at KIT are very excited to be collaborating with Teatro Italiano Network, KIT's theater consulting division, in presenting a great performance by Italian company Teatro Albe, Rumore di Acque (Noise In The Waters) featuring internationally recognized world music by the Mancuso brothers!
I t's a great opportunity you don't want to miss! From January 30 to February
16 at La Mama ETC (74A West 4th Street).
Originally from the Sicilian province Caltanissetta, the Mancuso brothers have worked tirelessly since the mid-seventies to combine the traditional music of their land with the influences of varied world culture. They have released several albums, and performed in Italy, Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, England, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Japan, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Uruguay, and Uzbekistan.
Their work has led them to collaborate with renowned Spanish musician and scholar, Joaquin Diaz, as well as: Putumayo World Music, Radio France, Anthony Minghella, Rai
Cinema, and Vivo Film. Recently, the Mancuso brothers were honored as Soundtrack Stars, with the prize for the best soundtrack for the film Via Castellana Bandiera at the seventieth International Exhibition of Cinematographic Art in Venice.

After having celebrated Mario Fratti for his great work as playwright and as the Ambassador of Italian Theater in the US, we are introducing the first Mario Fratti Award for Italian playwrights. Read the rules and apply or just spread the word!

KIT's mission is to create a cultural exchange program between Italy, the US and the international community, to unveil artistic and creative sides of these two countries to the world.
In the States, Kairos Italy Theater is dedicated to spreading the Italian Culture and to creating an Italian Cultural Network in order to support and further increase the knowledge of Italy in the States.
In 2013 KIT has created the YOUNGKIT, the young division of KIT, where a group of young artists work together on traditional and contemporary Italian plays, acted in English and in Italian.
KIT has also founded TEATRO ITALIANO NETWORK, the theater consulting by KIT, to help theater company to make their show in New York.
