FROM THE PASTOR'S LAPTOP | |
Welcome to 2013! I'm looking forward to the election of members to the Pastoral Search Committee as we officially launch our search for the next Senior Pastor of MCC NOVA! Let each of us commit to praying for God's leading and presence throughout this process. And just as important, let's commit to being present when congregational meetings/forums are called to provide status on the senior pastor search at our church. Your voice and vote are important, as well as your prayers for this committee and our community during this process.
During this month, we'll have a special baptism renewal experienc at our second Sunday worship. Also, over the Martin Luther King Jr./Inauguration Weekend, we'll hear reflections on the significance of these two events in our nation's history! Also, there will be a special recognition of our volunteers during our fourth Sunday worship service.
Thank you again for the privilege to serve as your Interim Pastor. I'm looking forward to seeing you in 2013!
Blessings,
Rev. Onetta
Intentional Interim Pastor
