"Made from the Hasenlaufer, this offers a superb nose of apricot flower, cassis, and smoke. The wine starts off on the juicy side on the palate but a quite forceful zesty acidity brings lightness and tension. This is very playful and a joy to drink by the bottle. 2017-2027"

About Max Ferdinand Richter

The Max Ferdinand Richter estate has been in the Richter family for over 300 years. The original Baroque Family house from 1774 still stands today! Situated in the heart of the Mosel the estate has holdings of 40 acres including some of the region's very best sites: Graacher Himmelreich, Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Brauneberger Juffer and Richter's monopole Veldenzer Eilsenberg.

All grapes are handpicked and the wine is fermented and matured in neutral oak casks. These are spectacularly focused and pure Rieslings. The value found here is exceptional.
