Dr. Antonio Moretti has made a major impact on the Italian wine scene with his projects Tenuta Sette Ponti near Arezzo, Poggio al Lupo in Maremma, and Feudo Maccari in Sicily, which have all received great recognition for producing outstanding terrior driven wines.  His newest addition is a prized 5.5 hectare vineyard in the heart of Bolgheri.  Podere Orma continues Dr. Moretti's ambition to make compelling, distinctive wines that express the uniqueness of Italy's finest terroirs.

Podere Orma is located within the district of Castagneto Carducci in Bolgheri, where the illustrious neighbours include both Sassicaia and Ornellaia. Needless to say,the region comprises some of the most legendary terroir in all of Italy.
