"Earthy aromas matched by bright blueberry fruit. Lovely ripe strawberry flavours - bright, crunchy palate with vivid acidity and great aromatic definition. A spicy finish with a touch of warmth."

About Artadi

Artadi is a visionary wine company founded in 1985 with the belief that "the value of great wines is closely related to the soil and the people". The company is dedicated to preserving the distinct viticultural traditions of three classic regions of Spain: Rioja Alavesa (Artadi), Navarra (Artazuri), and Alicante (El Seque).

Artadi's manifesto declares "Respect for nature has been a constant factor since our beginnings. Today the use of traditional agricultural methods, the absence of fertilizers and synthetic chemical substances and the use of principles of organic growing combine to provide a background of sustainable agriculture." Renowned winemaker Juan Carlos Lopez de la Calle maintains the very highest standards in all aspects of winegrowing.

Dry-farmed garnacha bush vines are the heart and soul of winegrowing in Navarra. Here Juan Carlos crafts succulent, juicy wine bursting with bright strawberry, raspberry and cranberry aromas and flavours. The fruit is buffered with pleasantly chalky tannins and zesty, refreshing acidity.  It is astonishing that Navarra's harsh growing conditions (it's very rocky and always too hot or too cold) can produce wine of such delicacy and freshness, but somehow they do.  Year after year this is one of the best value wines in our portfolio.
