Azelia's single vineyard Bricco dell 'Oriolo Dolcetto is produced from 40 year vines on calcareous sand. A classic Dolcetto with aromatics of bright blue and red fruit, purple flowers and a hint of sweet mint. Perfect with lighter fare - antipasto, cheeses and cured meats.

Azelia is still something of a Piedmonte lover's secret. Though the estate is not a high-profile one, proprietor Luigi Scavino is cousin of Enrico Scavino of the renowned Paolo Scavino estate, and shares ownership of the famed Fiasco hill with him, in addition to their San Rocco holdings in Serralunga.
Luigi, his wife Lorella and son Lorenzo Scavino own and maintain 16 hectares of vines in Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and Montelupo Albese (the source of their delicious Dolcetto) producing wines with beautiful fruit, aromatic purity and balance. Azelia's wines represent the essence of Piedmont and offer incredible value as well.
