A Note from the Director
Dear friends,
Once again September started out with a bang! Get ready, all ATDF Youth AND Adult classes began on Monday, September 15th and now run through June. Check out our complete schedule on-line at: atdf.org
Also, there are numerous special events and performances that are being developed and presented throughout the season so please keep a look out for special email blasts and you can always check out our website for up to date information. Speaking of websites! Whew! After being hacked, we are finally back and close to normal (whatever that is). Thank you for your patience and support through a very difficult period.
Next on the performance horizon is October 6th where the ATDF has been asked to present the opening number for the Career Transitions For Dancers Annual Gala at New York's City Center. This is a tremendous opportunity for us, and the tap dance community at large, and I hope you can join us in raising money for a great cause. I am assembling 100+ tap dancers for this, and we are VERY excited and honored to participate. We have a couple of additional rehearsal sessions, where you can learn the material, and our final audition is set for Saturday, September 27. For more information on this event, visit: http://www.careertransition.org/Fundraisers
Stay tuned for definitive dates for our Annual Holiday Concert in December as well as our monthly Tap Talks/Tap Film events. Remember, if you become a member you get into these studio events for free.
Meanwhile, welcome back and thanks again for your continued support of our programming.
