With the start of construction on the new US 101/San Juan Road Interchange Project, now is the perfect time to make Monterey Regional Airport the preferred airport for your trip.  

The speed limit along Highway 101, for 14 miles from northern Salinas to Cole Road in San Benito County, is now reduced to only 55 mph due to highway construction.  In addition to the lower speed limits, fines for violations are doubled in construction areas.

Allegiant no longer offers a discount to travelers who come to the airport to purchase a ticket at the counter, so there will be no incentive for a traveler to do so. This process was often inconvenient for customers due to the changeable hours and airline personnel available to sell tickets, so we applaud this change.

 

Allegiant tickets can be purchased in our terminal at the American Airlines counter at no additional cost one hour after an Allegiant flight departs.  Please check the flight schedule before coming to the airport.  Ticketing times are subject to changes.

 

Allegiant is now "cashless" at all airports.  The ticket counter representatives will no longer accept cash for any transactions (ticket sales, baggage fees, etc). 
           

The least expensive method to purchase an Allegiant ticket is by debit card. Allegiant offers a discount to travelers who pay by debit card of $4 per person per segment for airline tickets and $6 per person per segment for air/hotel packages.That's a savings of $8 per person on a typical round-trip flight, and $12 per person on a flight+hotel package! The debit card discount is in addition to any promotional offer currently available. These discounts are not available for those who pay by credit card. Travelers paying by debit card do not have all of the consumer protections legally available to those paying by credit card in the event of a dispute.

American Eagle serves Monterey Regional Airport with 4 regional jet flights daily to Los Angeles. Eagle will depart MRY at 6:00 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 1:55 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. American Eagle is the regional partner of American Airlines and a member of the OneWorld alliance.
 
Delta Air Lines - Travelers may purchase Delta Air Lines tickets departing from MRY to destinations worldwide. The MRY-LAX segment of the Delta ticket is flown on American Eagle. In LAX passengers continuing on to other destinations are transferred by bus from American Eagle's terminal to Delta's Terminal 5.
