Picks of the Week

Travis, a struggling young musician, crosses paths with Ellen, an older, married yoga instructor who is in the process of adopting a child. Travis and Ellen begin an affair that slowly deepens into something more intimate and profound. As their encounters continue, Travis must face the consequences of infidelity while Ellen is confronted with her crumbling marriage.

HOW HE FELL IN LOVE filmmaker Marc Meyers and lead actor Matt McGorry will participate in Q&A's at the 7 PM shows and introduce the 9:55 shows at the Fine Arts on Friday and Saturday, July 8th and 9th. Lead actress Amy Hargreaves will join them on July 8. Amy Nicholson (Chief Film Critic at MTV News and co-host of The Canon podcast) will moderate the Friday Q&A. Mr. Meyers will also participate in a Q&A after the 1:20 show and introducing the 4:20 show on Sunday, July 10th.

Pick of the Week

Captain Fantastic is a charmingly eccentric, sweet and funny look at an unconventional family living deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Viggo Mortensen (The Lord of the Rings, The Road) stars as Ben, a father devoted to raising his six kids with a rigorous physical and intellectual education. After the death of his absent wife, he is forced to leave his paradise and enter the world, beginning a journey that challenges his idea of what it means to be a parent.

ZERO DAYS
This new documentary from acclaimed filmmaker Alex Gibney (Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine, Oscar winner Taxi to the Dark Side) is a thriller about the super-secret world of cyberwar. For the first time, a film tells the alarming complete story of Stuxnet, a piece of self-replicating computer malware (known as a "worm" for its ability to burrow from computer to computer on its own) that was apparently unleashed by the U.S. and Israel to destroy a key part of an Iranian nuclear facility, and which ultimately spread beyond its intended target. In jaw-dropping detail Zero Days uncovers how a clandestine mission hatched by two allies with clashing agendas opened forever the Pandora's Box of cyberwarfare.
