New Phones, New Tutor Feature
We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and wish you a very happy new year!
The holidays were good to the Homework Hotline: Santa brought us new phones! We now have improved call quality and stability (and we've had solid quality and stability this year with more than 97 percent of calls experiencing no connection issues whatsoever). Starting this month, our newsletter will include a new feature: Fresh Voice, Familiar Voice. Each month, we will introduce you to two of our Homework Hotline tutors. Familiar Voice will feature one of our longtime tutors and Fresh Voice will feature one of our new tutors. Be sure to "like" us on Facebook and to follow us on Twitter. We post regular updates that include hours and useful information, as well as some helpful hints and study tips. As always, you can find helpful information on the Homework Hotline website.

What do you enjoy about tutoring? "I enjoy helping people learn the same material in different ways. Every student has their own learning style, and they might prefer different methods, so I always have to be prepared to come up with a new method or explanation. It's a puzzle! And, when the student understands the problem, I feel like I really helped, and it's so rewarding."
Why should students call the Homework Hotline? "If you're ever stuck on a math or science problem and just can't figure it out, the Homework Hotline is the perfect resource! We can clarify the problem, give hints or even walk you through a sample solution. You no longer have to feel stuck or unable to continue. We can help you get your homework done, and hopefully you'll understand it better too!"
