A special thank you to HWHL tutors, HMC Class of 2013
Homework Hotline would not be possible without the help of an extraordinary group of Harvey Mudd College students who joined Homework Hotline with great enthusiasm and some fear. Their enthusiasm stemmed from a desire to guide students with mathematics and science homework questions. They were afraid because even though they had tutored in the past, tutoring over the phone was new for them.
This academic year, 11 HMC students are seniors and will graduate May 19. All 11 have been part of the program since its inception in spring 2010, and eight of them are current mentor tutors. As mentor tutors, they mentor new tutors and provide overall program direction during weekly meetings.
