Academic Performance Index (API) Results

Dear AUHSD Community:
The California Department of Education released the 2012 Academic Performance Index (API) for all California schools and districts yesterday. The Acalanes Union High School District API increased for the eighth consecutive year to reach 908, the #1 high school district API in California and the highest ever achieved by a high school district. While the API represents only a narrow measure of what we try to accomplish with our students, we congratulate all students and staff for this achievement and the District's continuous improvement.
The 2012 API for each California high school was determined by student performance on STAR California Standards Tests in English language arts, mathematics, history and science, as well as the California High School Exit Exams in English language arts and mathematics.
